10 mg of Prednisone

Ian has finally gone down to 10mg of Prednisone.  He got lowed to that amount about a month ago. He was supposed to go down by one mg this month but his blood work shows that his Creatinine levels have gone up.  So they will test him again in a couple weeks.  Ian said that his doctor doesn't believe the Wegeners is to blame, but rather, his high blood pressure.  So Ian will need to go back to work on healthy eating (and not forget to take his blood pressure medicine for 2 days before the blood test next time) and I will need to help facilitate that.  I need to get back to work on my own healthy eating.  One thing I can say we do is we JUICE every day.  My mom Ian a juicer last year for his b-day when he first got sick.  For the past couple months, I've been juicing for Ian every morning.  He takes it to work and eats it as a snack instead of snacking on other things.  The kids love it.  Eli begs for it and Ayla will ask for more.  For a while Ayla was moaning the yummy moaning noise and was just so vocal about how yummy it was as she was drinking it.  She'd ask for more and more.  That makes me happy.  Abby likes the carrot apple one or the veggie/fruit smoothies, but isn't a huge fan of just the juice, which is to be expected.  I think if I give it to them more often that will change.  Eli takes juice almost every day for snack at school.  How cool is that?  He is so super picky about eating, so that makes me VERY happy.

Ian's moon face has been going down.  He trimmed his beard back even and it looks great.  People who don't see Ian as frequently as I do have mentioned how they think his face is returning to normal too.  What a challenging thing for Ian.
